Hi stranger!

"Did you miss me too?"

Hello all, I can't believe it's been so long. I have loads to catch you up on so let's not waste any time.

The end of last year kind of ended on a bit of a sour note. In October, I got into a pretty bad car accident. The guy U-turned into me when he should have yielded and the impact totalled the car I've had for the best ten years. The Doctor said I had sprained my foot and ankle, but I think it was much more severe. I've sprained my ankle before and I've never experienced pain like that before. I also think I "sprained" my wrist too because it felt just like my ankle. I've been going to physical therapy for probably the past month or so and I am happy to say I'm getting better with each day. As for everything else that's going on with the accident all I can say is that its still pending, I'll update you after I get the verdict.

Samantha, my cousin, had her 21st bday in November and of course she came out here. Wow!!! I've never had so much to drink in one week in my life, I was dead from lack of sleep by Wednesday (she came in Tuesday). I played Beer pong for the first time, so fun!! Sam's mom Kelly was there with us and didn't want any part of it. She didn't see the "fun" in drinking from cups that people were throwing dirty ping pong balls into, LOL. I got proposed marriage to twice by the same guy two different nights. LOL Too bad he was totally cute, but I had to say no. There was absolutely no way I was going to make that phone call home. "Mom, Dad, guess what? I'm married." "WHat!? To who?" "I don't know." "What do you mean you don't know!?" LOL

The week before my bday I was laid-off from Direct Buy, I guess because they combined with another DB in town and since I was the technically last one to be hired I was the first one to leave. I was and still am super bummed it happened, because I loved my job and loved just about everyone I worked with. I still keep in contact with most of them, they're just great people all around and wish it didn't have to end so soon. But, I know that there's a plan for me and I trust that whatever comes my way it will be better than what I ever expected.

For New Year's I went and spent time with my family for Christmas and drove up and spent a few days with Samantha for the actual New Year's celebration. It was fun, I thought that it was gonna be the type of party where everyone is just out of their minds and all I want to do is get the hell out of there, but it was very relaxed and low key, I loved it!!

Last year was a year full of firsts some I was happy to have, but mostly ones I hoped I would never encounter. My resolution for this year is to have a better year in every sense. Better Job, better health, better finances, better life!!
